So Not Good
I looked at the reading I have to do for my US Since 1865 class for tomorrow. It's freaking 49 pages long!!! 49 pages. 49 PAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *head explodes* I SO do not have time for this. I literally do not have the time. I have a crapload of reading to finish for my Japan and the West class (37 pages since I am behind) and then I have to read another 40 pages for Wednesday for the same class. Plus French homework. Plus I have to read and critique three stories for my Creative Writing Fiction class by Wednesday. And those are 8-12 pages long. I do not have the time or the attention span to read all that. Altogether, I have to read 152 pages. The US Since 1865 is due tomorrow. And the rest is due by Wednesday. *dies*

And So It Begins...
Today is November 1st, which means NaNoWriMo has begun. For those of you who don't know, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and the challenge is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. From November 1-30. This is my second year doing it. I'm very excited. I totally stayed up until 1AM yesterday so I could start at midnight and wrote for an hour before heading to bed.

And so begins a month of stress, bitching, whining, and self-loathing. Most importantly, it's a month of writing.

I already have a NaNoWriMo horror story--in the first five minutes that NaNoWriMo had begun, I started over twice. I ripped the page I was working on from my notebook (I'm one of those crazy ones who has to write things out first--I can't go directly from my head to my computer) and abandoned it. Twice. In five minutes my Inner Editor (henceforth known as IE) was going crazy and bitching about where I should start the story. I have threatened to throw her off the breakwall into Lake Superior (which in November isn't something you want to do--Edmund Fitzgerald anyone?) so she should be quiet for a while. Plus I promised her that after I got past my daily wordcount, if there was time, I would work on some edititng.

This year's novel is a continuation of last year's NaNo (the novel I wrote for NaNoWriMo). It has now been decided that the two novels are going to be published under the same title, Dante's Requiem. They're two separate books still. Book I is called Prelude and is undergoing revisions. *stares at IE tied up in corner* What? I am revising it. I swear. Book II is called Requiem and it's being written this year for NaNoWriMo. Each book is going to be about 50,000 words when done (though Book I is at about 46,000 right now, though I didn't write out two sex scenes and two other scenes that I had to skip due to time constraints so it's going to be a bit longer than that) for a grand total of 100,000 words.

I'm feeling pretty good so far. We'll see how long that lasts. I get to do homework today since I procrastinated on it, even though I wanted to get it done early so I could dedicate all of Sunday to writing. Oh well. I'll still have plenty of time to get to my daily word count. I take half hour breaks every half hour. That's the only way I'm able to remain sane. I've actually got most of my homework done already. I did manage to get most of it done. I just have a wee bit of French homework due tomorrow (which isn't hard at all) and I have to finish transcribing the lecture from my Japan to the West class to notes, read the freaking book, which I've been procrastinating on, and work on a study guide. I have to start the study guide early because there's a lot of fricking material to know for the test. *dies* Then if I'm lucky, I can start on my reading for my US Since 1865 class, but I probably won't get to it until tomorrow night. He warned us that the reading was a bit lengthy, so I've gotta keep that in mind. And in between all this, I'm going to be hacking away at my word count. And I'll be lurking in the forums. And I'll be whining/bitching/ranting here. And I'll keep an update of my word count here. Because I can.

Word count: 585 words

I'm not strong enough to do that and I would die if I had to serve in the armed forces. I cannot shoot another person and kill them.
Mini Ramble
I'm doing a mini ramble on cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Two cutscenes in particular, the one with Axel and Saix, and the one with Xion and Axel. It's mostly an Axel ramble. :D

First, the Axel and Saix cutscene. The English is a lot different from the Japanese with English subs one. It's a very very short scene, only about a minute long. There's not a whole lot to say, except...Axel's name!!! They pronounce it "Lee" in English. At first, I was annoyed, but I've decided that I like the pronunciation. It's masculine. I was afraid that his name was going to sound so feminine, like Marluxia's, which would totally kill Axel's character because he's not effiminante (however the hell you spell it) at all. Not like Marluxia and his freaking pink hair. D: So I'm happy with the way things are.

Now onto my absolute favorite cutscene: Xion and Axel's confrontation. I was really surprised when I watched this scene. I liked it well enough when I watched the Japanese version, but I wasn't crazy about it. Then I watched the English version. Oh. My. God. It was mostly Axel. I was amazed at the voice acting. I think it's the best voice acting scene so far in all the Kingdom Hearts games. Quinton Flynn did an amazing job with Axel at this part. The best lines were: "but how do you know that", "everybody thinks they're right", and "what's your problem". What I mean is that they sounded the best. The whole scene was so emotional and the raw emotion you hear in Axel's voice is just incredible. I love this part so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ugh, it's Monday again. The start of another long week. I had class at 10, and I have two more classes at 2 and 4-5:40. I have homework to do, a paper to write, a story to finish, and a quiz to study for. I just need to figure out when I can do all this. Life pretty much sucks right now.

358/2 Days
Oh my gosh, it's finally here! 358/2 Days is finally out!! Of course, having spent almost $400 on books this semester meant that I couldn't afford a DS and the game (I don't have a DS) D: so now I have to resort to Youtube for now. I've been watching intermittently all day trying to find the cutscenes I adore. Finally found all them. Now I'm going back and watching the entire playthrough someone posted on Youtube. This is gonna take a while. Especially since I have to study for my Japan and the West test tomorrow. XD Note: I am so totally blowing off my Creative Writing Fiction homework in order to study for this test because I can't do both. I just can't. It's WAY too much work in a short period of time. I can't read a crapload of pages and do the writing assignment with this test looming and I haven't studied at all yet because I've been too busy doing all my other homework and going to class. I WAS going to skip my French class today in order to study but my roommate talked me out of it (and I'm glad she did). After my US Since 1865 class ended at 5:40, I came back, quickly ate dinner, and got up to the library right away. I knew if I didn't, I wouldn't go and then I'd be screwed. I'm going to start studying soon but I have a system where I study for half an hour and then take a half hour break. It helps because I don't have a great attention span. I have to take frequent breaks. So on my breaks I am going to be watching 358/2 Days and rambling on about it so bear with me.

I am SO excited for this. I already know what happens because I've watched the cutscenes in Japanese with English subs and I've watched some of the playthrough, but I skipped around because I was running out of time and I REALLY wanted to get to the good parts. Now I'm going back and watching the entire thing from start to finish. It will take me a long time so there will be multiple posts. And the posts will probably be long. But I will use livejournal cuts to make it easier.

So anyway, the opening. I LOVE Sanctuary SO freaking much!!! It's my favorite opening song. And this opening has the Organization in it, so it's even better. I realized later after my ramble for the Japanense version of 358/2 Days that I thought it was Xemnas talking at the beginning but it was actually Saix. Whoops. I'm not really sure I like the type for the subtitles. The English is a lot different than the Japanese translations, but it wasn't an "official" sub, so that's okay. I still love it anyway. Eww, it's Vexen's pedo face. Creepy as ever!! Axel!!! He takes center stage in this game it seems, since he is highly connected to Roxas. I forgot how creepy Xemnas's voice is. I love how when Axel and Roxas are eating ice cream Axel stares at the stick of ice cream like "WTF?" I remember that because it was a short clip during the credits of Rebirth/Reverse and Axel takes a bite of the ice cream and shakes his head. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen.

Ooh it's the "why is the sunset red" scene!! I love Axel picking fun at Roxas and their little laugh is cute. Is it just me or does Axel sound like he's talking to Roxas like he'd talk to a little kid? Their laugh was so cute! And jealous Axel makes my world go round. :D There's hope for us AkuRoku fans yet. XD I don't care what people say, Axel is totally jealous in that scene when Roxas asks where "she" (who can only be Xion) could be.

Dude, the Organization members totally sleep in their uniforms. I mean Roxas doesn't even appear to remove his boots before going to bed. OMG it's Vexen's creepy-ass expression. He SO looks like a pedophile!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!! I love how Demyx looks really curious. It's just so totally adorable! And Xemnas looks like a pedophile too. XDDD

Hmm, so Saix is the one who hands out missions for the Organization. Interesting. Wonder why him. Most of Roxas's lines so far consist of "............" LOL Axel's babysitter line. Awww, Roxas remembers Axel's name. He also remembers Xemnas's name, so he's not THAT zombie-like. Only 90% of the time.

Yay, Twilight Town. The real one. Not the fake one. Lol, Axel's like "oh fuck trying to explain things. Let's just go DO things." He's still insanely skinny too. Seriously. How can someone like him eat so much ice cream and be that skinny? He's either diseased or has a wicked metabolism. Lol, I love how if Axel loses sight of you he'll just teleport and randomly appear behind you. All the Organization members do that. Lazy bums.

"That or out of trouble. I mean, hello, look at it. Big menacing X? I'll take the beaten path, thanks." LOL Axel!!

Roxas: So I should open the chest?
Axel: Yes, that is generally what we do.
Lol!!!!

These lines would be a lot better if they were spoken instead of dialogue boxes, but I'll take what I can get.

Roxas has a bit of an attitude. :D He also has memory issues. XD

Okay, that's all for now. I'll do more some other time.

I finally wrote (and finished!) an outline for Dark Angel (which will be forever dubbed DA to make things so much easier). I'm looking at about 15 chapters, maybe 16, depending on how the earlier chapters go. I might end up splitting some of them up, but we won't go there right now because I haven't exactly gotten to them yet. It's a lot shorter than Identity, which was 32 chapters, but then again, I still have to write another book that takes place after DA and before Identity. The last book was published first and now I'm going back and writing the first two. How did this happen? Plot bunnies happened. Stupid effing plot bunnies. DA and Identity were two different universes but somehow I realized that the two plots needed to fuse together into one big universe. Okay, I'm going to do a livejournal cut here because there are some spoilers for Identity, which not everyone has read and it's a long story too.

Okay, so what basically happened is that I started writing Identity based off a fanfiction I read for Digimon, of all animes. I liked Digimon. I still do, in fact, I just have this obsession with Kingdom Hearts right now. Among other things. The fanfiction was basically about twins who were lovers and how their lives fell apart and it got ME thinking and thinking, and eventually, the story of Hayden and Harou came out (hee hee hee). But as I was writing Identity, which was originally going to be entirely from Harou's POV (well for the most part anyway) this other story started forming involving this boy named Daire who was one of the last descendents of Hayden and Harou, able to have children even though he is a man. These sentences are probably not very coherent. I apologize. I'm really tired. But I need to get this out. Anyway, Daire's story started forming and I just couldn't let go of it. He's a Bearer (the name given to the male child-bearers) destined to live at The Institute, which is an environment built specifically for the Bearers to mate with what I call "Breeders"--men who have certain traits that will allow the race of Bearers, which is rapidly declining, by the way, to survive.

And then the story just took off from there. Really took off. Aleksei reared his ugly head (well not so much ugly--he's just an asshole) and I introduced Daire's alies Caelyn and Aidan. I love those two. And as the story progressed and became more complex, I started working out Aleksei's backstory and why he's such an asshole--he had a shitty childhood. Cliche or not, when you act out like Aleksei does, there are strong indications of sexual misconduct i.e. molestation and/or rape. Poor bastard. Then I started working out the relationship between Aidan and Caelyn who are both Bearers but fall in love with each other and break the taboo and have sex with each other. It really goes back to the Christan idea of "thou shalt not commit adultry". They're promised to other men, to their mates, and they're supposed to honor that promise and are bound together so what Aidan and Caelyn did could be seen as wrong. But at the same time, Caelyn's mate is a total douche and Aidan has a few secrets of his own. I won't spoil any of that.

But then I got to the point where they needed to leave, "they" being Daire, Caelyn, Aidan, Bryan, Aleksei, am I forgetting anyone? I don't think so. They wonder if escape has ever been attempted before and Bryan and Aleksei tell the story of Arlen, the pregnant Bearer who tried to run away but was caught and brought back. The controversy didn't stop there. He gave birth to a Bearer (whom at this point is unknown) but they don't know who the father of the baby was. He was not at The Institute. Ever. So it seems that Arlen had sex with someone before he arrived at The Institute since the father was not there. And then it turns out that the child Arlen was carrying was in fact Daire. Even better, a minor character named Rusty from the Council comes forward and reveals that he is Dante Winters, the Police Force chief, the father of Daire. The other father. So now there's Dante, who was from the original original DA which had nothing to do at all with Identity and Arlen, a childhood friend of Dante's who appeared only in his flashbacks. Now there's another story that needs to be told to set the foundation of Identity with the main character Dante and how everything happened the way it did that he's the Police Force chief and has a son with Arlen that he never even knew about. Damn you plotbunnies!!!! You've made a terrible mess here!!

Today was an interesting day. I saw my ex-friend today twice, both just in passing. I don't really want to talk about what happened between us because it's highly personal and very touchy. Let's just say it wasn't pretty. I don't know if he saw me, but he didn't say anything to me either way. I was like, "oh my god" when I saw him and started flipping out a bit mentally, but I tried to stay calm and not have an anxiety attack. Which I did. I also asked God to send his angel to help me be strong and I felt amazingly calm. That was when I was on my way to French (which is an insanely long walk, by the way). Then after French I came back and went up to the library because I had an hour before my next class and on my way out after the hour break, I passed by him again when I was going out and he was going in. I didn't say anything to him and he didn't say anything to me. I guess he was pretending that I didn't exist. But I survived and I didn't have a complete mental breakdown so that's good I guess.

My Laptop Hates Meeee!!
I swear my laptop hates me! And I didn't do anything wrong that would cause it to hate me. I don't hate it. It just hates me. This is a new laptop, mind you. I got it at the beginning of the fall semester a couple days before the new semester started and it already hates me!! First, when I was doing the whole setup thing at the Superior Dome (where the laptop distribution takes place), it was the only one there that decided after I shut it down properly that it was going to install updates. 20 of them to be exact. I couldn't do anything except sit there and wait for it to finish installing all the updates. The DVD player doesn't work for some movies, it says something like, "play stopped. Copy protection signal detected". Some DVDs do work. And now like every other time I try and put it on standby mode, it gets stuck trying to do that. Why me?! I didn't do anything wrong, I swear!!!! Oh, and for some reason, it signed me out of everything, like my hotmail, livejournal, Deviant Art, and so on. For no reason. It freaking hates me!!!!

Mixed Feelings
Well I'm back up at Northern now and I'm having mixed feelings about it. I'm happy, but at the same time I'm not. Does that even make sense? I cried a little yesterday after my parents left though I have no idea why and I also cried last night a little. It wasn't really crying, but rather tears. I got teary. There, that sounds better. I've just been weepy I guess. Probably because it's almost that time of the month, if you know what I mean. I always seem to get really emotional around the time before that time of the month starts. I just started thinking, "oh my god, I can't do this. I can't do this whole school thing." But then I rationalized with myself that I needed to do this and I could do this. I'm going to do this. But just in case, I asked God to send one of his angels to look after me and I did feel better this morning.

I slept in until about 11, got up, got dressed, got breakfast, and then my roommate and I went up to get our textbooks. I spent about $300 on them!! Ahhhhhh!! *headdesk* My French book was $155 new and you couldn't get it used!! I also got a really neat tote for my computer so now I have a nice safe place to put it rather than in my backpack of doom. I also got a new pair of headphones because my other ones just spontaneously died in one year. I freaking hate when that happens!!

There's still a whole lot of stuff I have to do before classes start Monday. I got my new laptop yesterday. Oh my god, it is so great!! I love it already!! SO much more storage than the old computer and it's just a whole lot nicer. Our room is still a bit of a mess. My roommate was supposed to have a loft, but things didn't work out so it's a little crowded right now. I have my loft set up and she's planning to hopefully have one built (we're keeping our fingers crossed). We have a nice little TV and I have my PS2 so we can play Kingdom Hearts. It's a lot better than last year already.

I'm a bit overwhelmed with everything I have to do before the semester starts. At least I got a planner so I'm a bit organized.

It Pays To Have a Dad Who Knows Cars
Did a bunch of car stuff tonight with my dad. He changed the oil while I watched so I now know how to change the oil of my car. It's actually surprisingly simple. All you do is jack the car up and put it on jack stands, take the cap off from the bottom of the car, let the oil drain into a pan, put the cap back on, and refil the oil. He also checked the air filter and the transmission fluid. My dad rocks!!

Oh. My. God. Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete is SO freaking awesome!!!!!! The original was good, but this one was much better. More of the Turks, stunning quality, and just plain awesomeness. Marlene and Denzel both have new VAs and they had to redub all their lines, but it works. Both VAs are really good. Marlene is so adorable!!!!!!!! I love her!! By the way, I made all these photos myself.

I still don't understand the opening scene, even now, many years later. D: It doesn't help that there are Japanese characters with no subs. D: The bane of my existance!!!!

And there's another confusing scene with Kadaj and Rufus. I honestly don't know why this is here.

I was a little sad that they got rid of the song "Sign" but they sort of had to I guess since that whole scene like totally changed. All of Rufus's lines are different. Well not all his lines, but a good majority of his lines have been changed. But it's a lot better.

And a lot more Reno and Rude. Hmm, I find it interesting that Reno calls Tseng "the director". And Rude compares Tseng and Elena to cats. Kinda odd. The "found ya" bit was incredibly creepy!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh, he was comparing Rufus and Tseng to cats. Lol. Still odd.

Seriously. You see this, then the screen goes black, and Kadaj says in a creepy voice, "found ya!"

OMG Denzel's past. It makes me want to cry!!! (I almost said "it wants to make me cry". Epic fail!! XDDDD)

I adore the scene with Kadaj and Rufus at Healin. Where Reno and Rude totally get their asses handed to them by a silver-haired teen. XDDD Who later turns into Sephiroth...yeah, those two are pretty screwed.

Who can forget this epic scene?!

Pretty serious stuff, huh?

I think I like this one best: Reno and Rude in the foreground suffering like hell and Kadaj and Rufus in the background. Poor guys. D:

Reno and Rude's lines were changed a bit at the part where they come up to Loz and Yazoo (who comes up with these names, seriously?!) at the monument so it makes more sense now. Lol, blame Rude for YOUR big mouth Reno!!!

Ohmygosh, the scene with Marlene and Cloud is SO cute!!!!! I love how she channels Barrett for a moment. She's so freaking adorable!!!

Reno: Hell-lo.
Rude: Hell no.

LOL!

Even better:

Reno: Is it after us?
Rude: I'm not looking!

Oh my god, the helicopter chase scene with Reno and Rude was the best!!! And Rude has a fucking bazooka.

Rude+bazooka=total awesomeness!!

Yazoo has a weird ass laugh. And a really girly scream.

Reno: WTF?

And then he realizes he has the helicopter control in his hands!! LOL!!!! I love Reno!!!!

Reno: Ohhhh. Oops. Heh heh.

Preparing to go out with a bang. ^^

They changed the Advent: One Winged Angel Music a bit and I was upset at first but then I realized how much better it was because you could actually *hear* the characters speaking. XD

Is that one long-ass sword or what?!

Probably one of the most badass animated villians ever created!!

This version is a lot gorier. Case in point:

Oh look, it's Cloud-On-A-Stick. XD I couldn't resist.

And it's a lot more bloody too...

I totally adore this movie in its entirety!!!! Eh, sorry, this turned out to be an insanely long post. XDDD

Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough
Part seven: Agrabah
This one turned out really long. XD

When you get to the Gummi menu, you'll find a new tournament at Olympus Coliseum as well as two warp holes. Go to the one next to Traverse Town. When you arrive at the warp hole, fly right into it. No, I'm not crazy. It'll lead you to the next world, Agrabah.

When you finally arrive, there's a cutscene with Malificent and Jafar. New Heartless will appear. Kill them and to through the door to the left to go into the Storage room where you'll find breakable barrels and jars filled with munny and a save point. After you've saved your game, go back out to the Plaza and go straight to go to Main Street. Kill off all the Heartless here and go left to go into the Alley, which will prompt a cutscene where you meet Jasmine. There's another cutscene and then more Heartless will appear.

Kill them off and head back to Main Street. Go straight all the way until you reach a wall. To your right, you'll see a doorway with a pole. Go up the pole into Aladdin's House. Get the treasure chests and free the carpet from underneath the heavy piece of furniture. Go through the doorway to your right to get back to Main Stret. Go back to the Plaza and save your game in Storage before heading out to the Desert.

The carpet will appear next to a temporary save point. Get on the carpet and it'll take you to where Aladdin and Abu are stuck in quicksand. Then Heartless will appear. Fight 'em off. A cutscene will occur after you're done. Followed by another one. And another.

When you arrive back in Agrabah, you're immediately assaulted by even more Heartless, including the Fat Bandits, the fire breathing cousins of the nasty Large Bodies. They're killed the same way as their cousins; from behind. Oh no, it seems someone rearragned everything while you were gone so you can't get anywhere. Don't worry.

Turn right and jump up onto the boxes. Destroy the Pot Spiders and get the treasure chest. Then, turn left and go out onto the orange awnings. See the green awning straight across from you and the doorway? Jump from the awning you're on to the green awning (you should be able to make it). Kill the Pot Spiders (without falling) and go through the doorway into the Alley. See the mini keyhole hidden behind the innocent-looking pot? You need to release it. But before you can do that, you need to kill all the Heartless that appear. If you fall off, don't worry; you can get back up by jumping on the boxes in the corner. It's pretty much a given that you'll fall.

After you've finished wasting the Heartless, get the treasure chest and then release the keyhole to open a gate. See the wooden awnings next to the keyhole? Jump across them but don't spend too much time on each one because they collapse. Jump up on the boxes to get to the next level where a couple Heartless appear. Kill them or just ignore them: it's your choice. Go through the door to the Main Street. Jump down and head for Aladdin's House for a bit of conversation.

Save and then head back to Main Street. You see the big block next to the blocked off doorway that leads to the Plaza? Jump up on that block and then go all the way up unitl you find yourself next to another entrance to Aladdin's House. Go straight ahead onto the awnings and follow them to the right until you see an open doorway with a treasure chest in front of it. Jump over there (you shouldn't have much trouble making it over there), get the treasure chest, and go through the doorway into the Bazaar. You might across Black Mushrooms, which are tough boogers to kill. What I do is just go back the way I came and reenter the Bazaar. Regular Heartless should appear. Kill them off like before. You might fall down, which actually isn't a bad thing because there's a Blue Trinity down there. Make sure to get it. Use the boxes to get back up to your starting place. Go across the wooden awnings keeping in mind that they are collapsible. Get the treasure chest and them jump up on the boxes to the ledge. Walk across the platform until it ends and then jump to the other one you see with a treasure chest on it.

After you get the treasure chest, go left unitl you see the same small keyhole as before. Like before, release it and another gate will open. This gate will get you to the Palace Gates, which is where you need to go.

Now go back to Main Street and jump down. Go back up the cinder blocks like before and back to the awnings, but this time, jump across to the yellow awning and go through the now open doorway to the Palace Gates. You'll see Jafar and Jasmine down below you. Be warned, though that there's a boss fight so be ready! Jump down when you're ready to initate a cutscene and the boss fight.

Boss Fight-Pot Centipede
Ahh, the stupid Pot Centipede. You've gotta either attack the head or the behind. Beware of the feelers because they do a lot of damage. You're better off attacking with the Keyblade and saving your magic to heal yourself, unless you have a death wish. ;) Ignore the Pot Spiders that attach and detach themselves from the main body. Just go after the head or behind. I have died before, so it's a definite possibility. The most annyoing part besides the antennae is the fact that the damn thing will move around so you have to keep tabs on it. And it may corner you, which is bad. I almost died that way. XD Oh and Jasmine's cries for help get a bit annoying too. It will drop HP balls every once in a while so make sure you pick those up to keep yourself healthy. For winning, you get a Ray of Light.

There's another cutscene and you need to head for the Desert. On your way out, don't forget to save! Be prepared because there's another boss fight.

Boss Fight-The Cave of Wonders
So the dumb thing is possessed. When it sticks its head into the sand, climb up on it and start attacking the eyes until you fall off. The eyeswill shoot off beams of light. If you have Guard equipped, use it to defend yourself. If not, try swinging the Keyblade though it might be hard to get the timing right. The Cave of Wonders will also summon Heartless. Ignore them unless you're stuck on the ground with nothing better to do. The easiest thing to do is wait until the Cave of Wonders sticks its head in the sand and jump up to attack the eyes, which is the source of its possession. When the eye is no longer purple, it's defeated. Time to move onto the next one. You don't get anything for winning except for experience.

After you've depossessed the Cave of Wonders, it's time to head inside. Go straight, killing off the Heartless, being careful not to fall, and minding the big balls rolling around a la Indiana Jones. the balls are easy to avoid. You see where the deep groves in the floor are? Don't walk there. Go through the door straight ahead to go into the Hall.

In the Hall, go straight ahead and follow the path down the stairs with the boxes with faces. When the eyes light up, watch out! They blow blue streams of energy that not only hurt, but also might make you fall off the edge. If you fall, don't panic. Just swim until you find solid land and go up the first staircase you find back up to the main level. The next room is the Bottomless Hall.

This room is a bit tricky because there's a bunch of floor missing. Jump up onto the first box with a face and up to the platform. Defeat the Heartless and run across. Get the treasure chest and the end and then jump down. Kill the Heartless and go through the doorway into the Treasure Room. Kill the Heartless and go over to the big piller at the other end that's blocking a doorway. Examine it and then leave. Don't forget the Red Trinity!

When you're back in the Bottomless Hall, go to the edge and jump off so you end up in the water-filled basement. Go up the staircase right in front of you and get the Blue Trinity. Then jump off the other side and swim over to the doorway that leads you to the Hidden Room. Once you're there, swim over to the staircase right ahead of you. Turn the camera all the way around. See that big ass pillar? Lock onto it and attack it. It may take a couple of tries, but you can hit it. Hitting it will trigger a cutscene with Jafar and Genie.

Once you get control of Sora again, leave the Hidden Room and go back upstairs. Head back to the Treasure Room where you'll find a save point. You'll also find that the doorway is now unblocked. Once you've saved and are ready, go through the open doorway to face Jafar...Part 1.

Boss Fight-Jafar, Pt.1
This boss fight is annoying because Jafar is out of reach a lot of the time. Plus there's Genie. He halfheartedly attacks you and gives you a lot of warning. Jafar will fire a line of fire at you. He'll also create a gigantic Blizzard tornado. This is easy to avoid. Just stay out of the middle. Locking onto Jafar helps a lot because he loves moving around. He also enjoys turning himself into a speck of purple light and moving around. Again, locking onto him really helps. Attack when you can and use the platforms around the room whenever possible. When you win, Blizzard is upgraded to Blizzara.

Run over to Jasmine to trigger another cutscene where Jafar turns himself into a genie. Jump into that big gaping hole for the last boss fight.

Boss Fight-Jafar, Pt. 2
Arg, this boss fight is so annoying. You've gotta chase after Iago, who has Jafar's lamp while avoiding whatever Jafar throws at you. The battle isn't complicated--just attack the damn bird until he dies. Locking on helps. As Iago's health decreases, he gest more and more tired and takes more and more breaks, making it easier to hit him. For winning, Fire is upgraded to Fira. You also get Ansem Report 1.

Oh dear, it looks like Jasmine has been kidnapped. And the keyhole is sealed, causing the place to collapse. Nice. Fly your way out of there. It's not really that hard.

Back at Aladdin's place, he wants to go with you, but you can't take him along. He sitll has one wish left, but he uses it to free Genie. What a friend, huh?

Cutscene with the villans. Guess Riku really is one of them now. It seems will find Riku when we get to Neverland.

Back in Agrabah, you learn how to summon Genie. You also recieve the Three Wishes keychain. You also learn Green Trinity. Time to leave again!

Part six: Traverse Town Part 2

You've gotta go find Leon. According to Yuffie, he's in the Secret Waterway training. All right. Go into 2nd District. The Heartless are stronger now, but then again, so are you. Go down to the fountain to get to the Alleyway. Go to the right and go all the way down until you reach the water that has a grate. Use the Red Trinity to smash down the grate and then go through it. Welcome to the Secrety Waterway. There you'll find Leon training away with Aerith. Talk to Leon. Then talk to him again about the Gummi piece you found. You get Earthshine.

Return to First District and go to the Accessory shop. Talk to Cid. He'll send you on a mission to Third District to return a book.So go to the Third District? Know how to get there? Go into the Second District and make a right. Go down the stairs and turn right again followed by another right. Look familiar? Go toward the building and make another right at the first alley. Follow the path all the way down until you come to a set of doors labeled Third District. Go through these doors and go right. To your left is the Vacant House you'll meet Cid and the others in later. To the right is a set of stairs. Go down the stairs and go left until you're in a big commons area. You'll see an alley with a door at the end with a giant Fire symbol on it. Go down this alley and cast Fire at the door. I'll open. Hop across the rocks and don't fall in. Go around and enter the Empty Room.

There'll be a short cutscene and then you'll meet Merlin. What an efficient way to unpack, hh? Go talk to Merlin. You'll end up talking to the Fairy Godmother who knows what the gem Leon gave you is all about. You'll learn how to summon Simba. Personally, I don't find much use for the Summons except for Tinker Bell, but I'll get to that later. Don't forget the Blue Trinity in front of the chalkboard!

Leave Merlin's Study and head back for the Vacant House next to the entrance to Second District. You'll start a cutscene with...Riku?! Hmm, how interesing. Where did he go? Now head for the house near the entrance to Second District. Talk to Cid. A cutscene will follow. Oh no, Riku, what are you doing listening to Malificent?! You are NOT smart, ya know.

Whoo! You get a Warp Gummi so you can warp between worlds you've already visited. It makes traveling SO much easier!

Now it's time to check out the bell above the Gizmo Shop in the Second District. Go to the Second District and from the entrance to the First District, turn left. Head down the path by the Hotel (or just go through it--it's a good way to gain experience and level up). Go up all the stairs until you see a door to your right. Go through this door and you'll find yourself inside the Gizmo Shop. Fight through all the waves of Heartless (another great way to gain experience and level up). Go across the room and through the other door. Turn left and you'll find a ladder that heads to the roof.

Once on the roof, fight all the Heartless. To your right, you'll see several boxes and a Red Trinity. Use the Red Trinity to gain access to the bell. Ring the bell three times. Ooh look, a keyhole! Run to the edge of the roof. Be warned, there's a boss fight. When you're ready, jump off. No, it won't hurt at all. This game defies the laws of physics. Head for the keyhole but before you can seal it, you're attacked!

Boss Fight-Guard Armor/Reverse Guard Armor
This may look like the same Heartless you fought before, but believe me, it's not. Start out by attacking it. It appears to die, but then it comes back to life doing some funky transformation into an even stronger Heartless. Attack it like you did the other. Beware of the chest piece becaues it has a wicked rocket move. It's not really a hard boss fight. After it dies (and this time for good), you learn the magic spell Aero and seal the keyhole. You also get a Navi-G piece. Well, now it's time to leave. Head to a save point or World Exit whenever you're ready.

Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough
Part five: Deep Jungle

Okay, so Donald doesn't want to stop here but you do resulting in an argument. You crash land the Gummi Ship and get separated from Donald and Goofy. There's a cutscene and you end up having to fight against Sabor. My advice is to use Fire until it runs out and then attack Sabor with your Keyblade. It's not a very difficult battle and you don't get anything out of it except some experience, which is always helpfuol. Afterwards, there's another cutscene where you're almost killed but saved by Tarzan. You end up joining forces with him. There's another brief cutscene with Donald and Goofy.

When you get control of Sora, follow Tarzan off the side of the treehouse. You'll land in an area with a huge log and a save oint. Save your game and then jump down the log. You'll end up surfing down the tree like Tarzan in the movie, which is so fun. X is attack to destroy branches in the way and O is jump to jump over them. You'll land in the camp.

Go into the tent and prompt a cutscene where you meet Jane and Clayton and are reunited with Donald and Goofy. Both of them decide to stay behind because of a weird gummi block. Open the treasure chest to get a mythril shard. Save your game and then talk to Jane. Oops, she lost the slides. Better go and find them. Leave the tent.

Slide 4-on top of the boxes of stuff directy opposite the tent.

Slide 3-next to the easel on the left side of the camp (when just leaving the tent)

Slide 6-directly left of the tent on top of some boxes (when just leaving the tent)

Slide 1-on top of the tent. Jump up on the boxes where you obtained Slide 6 to get up on top of the tent.

Slide 5-when on top of the tent, continue across and jump to the stretch of tents. The fifth slide is located at the very end.

Slide 2- from the tent, turn right and go under the small tents you jumped across to get Slide 5. Slide 2 is hovering on top of a box.

Make sure you get the Blue Trinity in the corner near the entrance to the Hippo's Lagoon. When you've finished, go back into the tent and Examine the projector. Go through the slide show to provoke a cutscene. You get the feeling that Clayton is up to something, right? Save your game and then leave the tent. You may or may not run into Sabor and have to fight him. If you do, just use the same tatics as before.

You need to get up to Vines 2. The easiest way to get there is to go to the Hippo's Lagoon and jump across the lagoon to the right. Then swim in the second lagoon to a small piece of land to your immediate left. Jump up and across the three tree tops. You should have a treasure chest in front of you. After you open it, look around until you see the hippo in the water and the land way far away with a treasure chest and a pole. Jump down onto the hippo's back and from there you can jump onto the land and climb up the pole. It takes quite a bit of patience sometimes but it's a great shortcut. If you don't want to do it, you go up the vine right in front of you as you enter the Hippo's Lagoon and swing across and then go up another vine to Vines 2.

Once you get to Vines 2, there's a cutscene.

Now it's onto the Treehouse. Turn around. You see the vine right behind you? Climb it. It'll take you up to the Climbing Trees. Go around until you find a large hole that has a Blue Trinity in front of it up on a platform. This will lead you to the Treehouse. A cutscene will start. Darn Clayton. We all knew he was up to no good. Head back to camp. The easiest way is to jump off the side of the tree house and slide down the tree. When you reach the camp, go into the tent to start a cutscene, unless you're attacked by Sabor.

Boy, that doesn't sound good. Save your game and leave the tent. Oh no, Heartless! These monkeys are a royal pain in the rear to beat. Fire can be helpful as long as your aim is decent. Be prepared for the possibility that you'll die. It's happened to me before. Beat all the monkeys and the gorilla will give you a Protect-G, which is a Gummi part. Go straight ahead to the Bamboo Thicket and defeat the Heartless there and you'll get a Fire-G. Do the same at the Cliff which is straight ahead from the Bamboo Thicket, the Climbing Trees, and the Tree House. You get various Gummi parts for winning. Now, return to camp. Go into the tent and save your game. There's a very very short cutscene. Head back to the Bamboo Thicket and be ready for a Boss Fight!

Boss FIght-Sabor
Time to take the kitty down for good! This time, Sabor is a bit harder because he has more HP and a few new tricks. Like hiding in the bushes and randomly attacking. When he does this, use lock-on to easily find him and dodge his attacks. As before, Fire is your best friend.
For winning, you recieve a White Fang.

There's another cutscene. Head back to the tent. Oh no! Jane is missing! Save your game and head up to the Climbing Trees. Ignore the Heartless (let Donald and Goofy take care of them) and attack the big black fruit. It's hard to miss. When you're done, go back to the camp, go into the tent, and save your game. Then, ignoring all the Heartless, which can be challenging, head to the Cliff for the second boss fight.

Boss Fight-Clayton/Stealth Sneaker
What I always do is save Olympus Coliseum until now, hit Traverse Town to stock up on itens and to level up, then go do Olympus Coliseum, and then come back here to face Clayton and the Stealth Sneaker because it can be a bit challenging sometimes.

The first part of the boss fight isn't hard. Just attack Clayton with the Keyblade. You'll want to save your magic for the second part of the fight, which happens after you attack Clayton so many times.

A cutscene will occur and then you'll have to face Clayton riding on top of some invisible thing. Just keep attacking with Fire until the big Heartless appears. When Fire runs out, use your Keyblade. Separate Clayton from the Heartless. Keep attacking the Heartless until it dies. Trust me, it'll be a lot wose if you don't. It'll get in the way and might even kill you. You don't have to beat it, but I highly reccommend it. Then after the Heartless dies, go after Clayton. Use Fire and your Keyblade and be warned that he loves to heal himself, which can get pretty annoying fast. Just keep attacking him and try to prevent him from using his items.

You learn Cure when you win. I suggest customizing it so it's on the shortcut. I also suggest using X as the shortcut. There's a cutscene where you get thrown up a cliff. Go into the cave. Jump up on the rocks, getting the treasure chests on the way. Cross the ivy against the wall and climb up the ivy to the next level. Jump up to the rock on the right and then the one on the left. Then jump straight across and follow the path into the Cave.

This'll prompt another cutscene. The keyhole will be sealed. You'll also recieve a Gummi piece. Another cutscene with the bad guys. Let's see...there's Malificent, Jafar, and you hear the voices of Oogie Boogie (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) and Ursula.

Back in the jungle, you recieve your first keychain-Jungle King. I'll have a section later about keychains and how to equip them, where to find them, and what they do. You also learn Red Trinity. You end up in the Gummi Ship. TIme to head back to Traverse Town (or Olympus Coliseum if you haven't already done that).

Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough
Part four: Wonderland.

From the Gummi map, choose to go to the right. This world has weaker Heartless. When you get there, you find yourself in Wonderland. You and Donald land gracefully and Goofy falls. There's a cutscene with the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. Got control of Sora?

FOLLOW THAT RABBIT!! Go through up the messed up door into the Bizzare Room. Go over to the doorknob. There's a cutscene. Go over to the bed and push it into the wall BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!!! Then go and drink the bottle so you shrink. Heartless will appear. After defeating them, go through the doorway next to the lethargic doorknob. There'll be a cutscene. Great, you have to find poof of Alice's innocence. Go to the left and through the leafy doorway into the Lotus Forest. There'll be a cutscene with the Cheshire Cat. Four pieces of evidence, huh? Let's get looking.

Footprints-turn right almost immediately after coming into forest. The box containing the footprints is by the Blue Trinity.

Antennae-go to the back of the forest. See the three mushrooms? Jump up them to the right and right there is the box.

Stench-at the three mushrooms, go left instead of right and jump across the lily pads. Then, go on the tree that has the red fruit. Then, jump to the lily pads after it and go to the left. You'll fall into the Bizzare Room and right there in front of you is the box.

Claw Marks-this is the most complicated one to find. Go into the Lotus Forest and give the yellow flower a Potion to make you bigger. Go and step on the tree stump where the Cheshire Cat was and it'll go down. Then, target the tree and hit it twice. Then, examine the red thing on the tree and take it. Eat it and you'll shrink back to normal. Go to the back where where the three mushrooms are and go left, like before. Follow the same place that you took to get the stench but instead of going left, go right at the lily pads. There's a doorway that'll lead you to the Bizzare Room. You'll land on a water faucet. Do you see where Goofy is staring? You have to jump all the way over there. Just get a running start and if you fall, start over. You'll get it eventually. Your reward is the magic spell, Blizzard.

At one point or another, a new Heartless will appear, Red Nocturne. Don't use FIre on them because they'll just turn it into energy. Go back to the Queen's Castle and talk to one of the cards. Say you are ready to
present your evidene and there'll be a cutscene.

You'll have to choose a box. I choose the one directly in front of the 3 of Hearts and usually it's the right one. Now you have to fight the Cards.

Boss Fight-Cards
Just attack the tower. For some reason, Donald and Goofy want to attack the cards. It can be a bit annoying because the cards will come after you and get on your nerves. You may even die. Maybe.

Oh no, Alice is gone! Save in the corner and go back into the Lotus Forest. Like the Cheshire Cat says, go to the garden and the Bizzare Room. It's in the back. You'll most likely encounter another new Heartless, the Large Body. Frontal attacks don't work so you've gotta attack them from behind. Examine the list by the picture twice and sit in the seats to get all sorts of goodies though twice Heartless appears. When this happens, the tables and chairs vanish so leave and come back in.

When you're done, go into the Bizzare Room. Go up the ramp where the
chimney is. Jump onto the table and touch the lamp. Then jump to the other table and touch the lamp. Then, go to the door and release it to go back to the Queen's Castle.

Save and go to the Bizzare Room. Make sure to take items because you have a boss fight. Go up on the table and talk to the cat. There is a quick cutscene and a boss fight.

Boss Fight-Trickmaster
Jump up and attack him and then when he bends down, attack him more. Beware of his fiery batons that are lit after a while. He'll also slash at you and walk around. Using the table is helpful. You get an Ifrits Horn for winning.

The doorknob wakes up and you seal your first keyhole. You also get a navi-gummi piece. Man, after all that work, Alice is gone. Save and then leave.

Here is my walkthrough for Kingdom Hearts.
Current progress: beginning playthrough of Neverland.

Awakening

Destiny Islands

Traverse Town Part 1

Wonderland

Deep Jungle

Traverse Town Part 2

Agrabah

Kingdom Hearts Walkthrough
Here's part three of my Kingdom Hearts walkthrough--Traverse Town part 1.

Starts out with a cutscene. You're woken in a strange world by Pluto. Welcome to Traverse Town. After leaving the alley, go into the Accessory Shop behind you. Talk to the man in there, Cid from Final Fantasy VII. After you're done talking to him, go and save in the corner.

Then, go back out and go to the left. Go up the stairs, turn left, go up the stairs, turn right, and go through the double doors that lead to the Second District. There's a brief cutscene introducing a new Heartless, the Soldier. Shadows appear. Defeating them shouldn't be a problem. Besdies HP balls, they also drop munny. Once you've defeated them, go back to First District and defeat the Shadows that appear there. Then go to the Accessory Shop and save. In the corner, by the dooris a treasure chest on top of a cabinet. Jump up there and open it. There's a mythril shard in there, which is used for synthesizing things (more on that later).

Then go out and there'll be a cutscene. The man who's talking is Leon from Final Fantasy. You have to fight him. If you lose, it's no big deal (because the story will move along but winning is good because you need the experience. Trust me, you do.) He'll slash at you with his sword or shoot fireballs at you. It's worth 30 experience points to defeat him.

There's a short cutscene then a longer one explaining things. Talk to Yuffie (also from Final Fantasy VII) then open the treasure chest on the table. It'll give you an Elixer, which restores both magic and HP. Then save and talk to Leon.

When he asks you if you're ready or not, say yes. A cutscene will start and you'll end up in an alley. Fight the Heartless if you want. Go straight, toward the boxes. Turn left and you'll get a Potion in a treasure chest. Then head back a bit and you'll see a pair of double doors marked Second District. Go through these doors and you should find ourself next to a fountain. Way on the other side of the area is a building with stained glass. Head for that building and take the first alley on the right. You should come to a pair of double doors marked Third District. Go through the doors and there'll be a cutscene. If you happen to get lost, DON'T panic. Just wander around and try to find your way to the Third District, all right?

After the cutscene, there's another one, then a boss fight.

Boss Fight-Guard Armor
This boss isn't extremely difficult. Just attack the separate parts until they die. Don't worry about Donald and Goofy--they'll take care of themselves.
You get a Brave Warrior for winning.

There's a cutscene, then another one with the villians you know and hate. You don't see them, but you can tell who they are by their voices. The only one you actually see is Malificent. You get 100 money from Leon, Aerith, and Yuffie and an Elixer from Leon. You also get the magic spell Fire and the ability Dodge Roll, which is really useful. By the door is a trinity. I'll have a section later about these. Wander around and shop. There's stuff for sale in the Item Shop like Potions and stuff. You can also sell things you don't need. When you're ready, you can go the Accessory Shop and save, then leave either by the Save point or by the World Exit.

Driving In the Rain Sucks
It especially sucks when the roads tend to retain water so you have to slosh through thick puddles. I kept my hands on the wheel, tried to not panic, and struggled to remember what I had learned in Driver's Training about driving through water-soaked roads. XD I didn't get in an accident at least. That would kind of suck. And the only worse thing about that was that my car doesn't have a back wiper so I could barely see out of the back ninety percent of the time. Then the windshield got all foggy so I had to figure out how to get it unfogged. I always forget how stressful driving can be.
Here is part 2 of my walkthrough, Destiny Islands. Enjoy!

You wake up on the Destiny Islands, which is your home. You meet your friends Kairi and Riku in a cutscene. Talk to Kairi after the cutscene has ended--she's right in front of you. She sends you on a scavenger hunt to find two logs, one cloth, and one rope. If you find all the stuff without asking for help, she'll give you a hi-potion.

Okay, the first log is on the beach. The second one is on the island. To get there from the beach, run up the ramp and turn right. Jump on top of the Seaside Shack (that building right there). It may take a couple tries, but you can get up there. If you get too frustrated, go inside the Seaside Shack from the beach and run up the stairs. There's a door that leads up there. The log is near the center, near where Riku is.

To find the cloth, go back onto the beach and run up the wooden ramp.Turn left, go up the next ramp, and turn left again. Follow the path until you see a ladder on the left and stairs on the right. Go up the staris and go right and up the stairs. Then climb the ladder and follow the path around again until you see a doorway on the right. Go in the doorway and the cloth is hanging on the wall.

Go back down until you're all the way at the bottom where the ladder and stairs are. Go up the ladder and on to the boat thingy. The rope's in the corner. Then, go talk to Kairi and she should give you the high potion. She'll ask you if you want to call it a day. say yess and there'll be another cutscene.

Note: the Final Fantasy people from the Awakening cutscene are spread out. You can fight them if you want to and gain experience from that.

After this cutscene finally ends, there'll be another one introducing Donald and Goofy as well as a bunch of others, including the missing King Mickey. It's actually two cutscenes. Then you're back on Destiny Islands and you have control now. Before anything, go into the Seaside Shack and save.

Then, go through the doorway that Kairi had been blocking earlier. Right next to you is Riku. Talk to him and you'll have to race to see who gets to name the raft. He wants Highwind and you want Excaliber or whatever you want to name it.

To win, jump down off the other cliff. Go around the raft and up the hill. Jump across to the star and tag it, then jump down and go around the palm trees, around the raft, hop the fence, swim back, and jump u to where Kairi is. If you win, all you get is a pretty stone (besides the naming rights). The only useful thing the pretty stone does is get you 30 munny later.

Go to the raft and talk to Kairi. She'll send you on another hunt with the same reward if you don't ask for help. This time, you're looking for a seagull egg, three mushrooms, two coconuts, three fish, and fresh water.
Okay, so first things first. Go back to the seashore and go up the path that leads to the island. There's a grey pole that you can climb up and after you do, jump to the palm tree on the right. You'll be able to see the seagull egg.

The first mushroom is in the Secret Place. From the beach, go up the wooden ramp and turn left. A path will lead you to the Secret Place. The mushroom is by the door to the left. After you gather it, there'll be a brief cutscene. Leave when it's done and go back to the cove. The second mushroom is by the big tower, to the left. Go up the stars after the water and you'll see what I mean. The third mushroom is by the raft, in the little cave, blocked by a big rock. Push the rock out of the way and you'll be able to get in.

You know those palm trees you passed by earlier? Attack them until a gold coconut falls. These are the coconuts you need.

The drinking water is found by the race course in the wall or in the waterfall by the Secret Place.

The three fish are easy to find. Go back to the seashore and wander around in the water on the beach until you see little black fish swim by. Chase after those little boogers and you'll have your fish. Once you finally catch them (sometimes it takes patiences) go back to the raft and talk to Kairi, then talk to her again. You'll get a hi-potion and she'll ask you if you want to call it a day again. Say yes and it'll prompt a cutscene.

Then, there'll be another one having to do with Donald and them, then another one on the same subject. That's a lot of cutscenes, huh? They're important for the plot so bear with them. They get a lore more interesting later.

Finally, you'll have a cutscene back on Destiny Islands. This one isn't very long. You'll have another brief cutscene and Shadows appear. Your wooden sword isn't very good against them so just ignore them and run out to the island. There'll be another cutscene and you'll get the Keyblade. Now you can fight the Heartless without a problem. Fight them for a bit and level up. Then, when you're ready, go to the Secret Place. You'll have a cutscene where you're blown out of there, then you'll have to fight the same Darkside again.

Boss Fight- Darkside 2
Besides the two attacks he had before, he's got a new one: he makes these little orbs fly odwn and they HURT if they hit you. He also will punch the ground and sends out a shockwave. Simply jump when he comes near you to dodge it. After you win, you're sucked into the orb in the sky.
