Some people spend their whole lives preparing the answer to this question: What albums are on your personal all-time Top 10 list?

Note: these are not in order of preference, they're just in any order. I'm more geared towards individual songs rather than albums, but there are a couple albums that I have either all the songs or a majority of the songs on my ipod. These are as follows:

1. The Open Door-Evanescence
2. Fallen-Evanescence
3. The Prince of Egypt Soundtrack
4. The Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack
5. The Phantom of the Opera Original Cast Soundtrack (this is not the same as #4--this is the original cast, with Michael Crawfod. #4 is the soundtrack to the recent movie with Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum (my apologies if I butchered the spelling of her name), ect.
6. Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Soundtrack
7. Titanic Soundtrack
8. Back to Titanic Soundtrack (more music from the movie Titanic)
9. Carly Simon Greatest Hits Live
10. The Essential Billy Joel

Lots of soundtracks. I can't help it. They have a lot of good music.

What type of music inspires you?

I don't get inspired by a certain type of music. I get inspired by specific songs. My creativity is directly linked to music in a lot of ways, but like I said before, it's usually a certain song that inspires me. It depends a lot on what mood I'm in. If I'm depressed, I'll listen to Evanescence and that in turn leads me to write angsty things. Sometimes I'll be inspired by really weird things. My now-dead story the Glass Dolls was inspired in part by the song 'The Bells of Notre Dame' from the movie 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'. It was also inspired by 'Haunted' by Evanescence.
